Went to my boyfriends university today to support him with his cooking concept project (cause y’know, I’m a lovely girlfriend…). Took my friends too, and it was awesome. Firstly, I would like to talk about the price of the food. We went for a little snack, as it was after lunch, before dinner. I had the “plateau club” which consisted of gourmet club sandwiches, little potato wedges, cookies and milk?! What a snack! Very filling, and incredibly yummy and so so cheap!
Karl was in charge of making the “plateau Asiatique” which included 4 different types of sushi, and these massive dough ball things who’s name I forgot. But basically, they were the ball things kung fu panda tries to eat when he’s learning how to fight. Yep, those yummy looking things! And they were amazing! (Karl said he’ll teach me how to cook them :P). We also had virgin cocktails, which were very fruity and delicious. The setting was incredibly classy, and Kat nearly brought down the whole drinks and glasses display by trying to shuffle cards…
I sometimes get quite jealous of my boyfriend, as what I think he’s inspiring to be is seriously amazing. He’s really passionate about his work, and he’s really good at it too. I only hope that one day, I will do something that I’m equally as passionate about!
